Vehicle day this Saturday!

Looking for something to do this Saturday, October 20th? Come on down to the library for Vehicle Day from 11AM-2PM! We’ll be closing off Park Avenue and parking (no pun intended!) a street sweeper, a fire truck and the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office hummer! Kids and grownups can come explore the vehicles and learn one each one does. We’ll also be having vehicle storytimes on the hour @ 11AM, 12PM, and 1PM.  The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office will also offer youth identification cards while they are here. Hope to see you all this Saturday!

  1. Is Vehicle Day an annual event? I would like to attend this event next time. It’s great because people have the chance to see awesome vehicles that belong in a unique class, if you must. Seeing vehicles like street sweeper truck, fire truck, and even a Sherriff’s hummer in one place sounds like a great deal to me!

  2. Seeing different vehicles in one place is surely a wonderful idea. But for me, the most interesting part of this event was the vehicle storytimes. You will be more fascinated with street sweepers or with fire trucks once you've heard the story behind their greatness. They look physically extraordinary, but you'll be more amazed with them when you know how cost-efficient they are for our society.
