The Children's Services Department at Matawan Aberdeen Public Library serves children with a collection that includes picture books, beginning readers, classic and contemporary children's fiction and a broad non-fiction collection for general interest and homework help. The children's librarian can assist with reader's advisory, research, and curriculum support. Regular toddler and preschool programs are scheduled as well as programs for babies and school-age children.

Sesame Street's Birthday
On Thursday, November 10th the Children's Room celebrated Sesame Street's 42nd birthday with stories, songs, and an Elmo craft!
