The Children's Services Department at Matawan Aberdeen Public Library serves children with a collection that includes picture books, beginning readers, classic and contemporary children's fiction and a broad non-fiction collection for general interest and homework help. The children's librarian can assist with reader's advisory, research, and curriculum support. Regular toddler and preschool programs are scheduled as well as programs for babies and school-age children.

Teen Volunteer Recruitment Sessions
The library is looking for teen volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks this summer. Recruitment sessions will take place Wednesday, June 2nd and Thursday, June 3rd from 5-5:30PM in the library meeting room. Volunteer opportunities are open to students entering grades 7-12.
